Mohammed is the director of Learning in Steps Speech Pathology Services. Mohammed is:

  • A certified practising member of Speech Pathology Australia.
  • A passionate and energetic speech therapist working with young, preschool and school children, teachers and other professionals to provide the best service.
  • Trained in DIR Floortime.
  • Experienced in assessment and treatment of children with a range of delays and disorders. Mohammed especially enjoys working on speech, language and stuttering.
  • Highly experienced in seeing children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Down Syndrome, Global Developmental Delays and Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders.
  • Able to speak and provide services in English and Arabic.
  • Trained in the THRASS literacy program.
  • Trained in delivering PECs/visual support communications/high technology device communications.

Juvaria

Juvaria is a passionate speech therapist dedicated to helping individuals improve their communication skills. With a deep understanding of the importance of speech and language development, I work with clients of all ages, from children to adults, addressing various speech and language disorders. My approach is personalized, focusing on each individual’s unique needs to help them achieve their full potential. Whether it’s articulation, fluency, voice disorders, or language delays, I strive to create a supportive and nurturing environment for my clients to thrive.

  • Masters in Audiology and Speech language Pathology.
  • Highly experience with working in various areas of speech disorders,worked with children from various ages starting from 0-15 years and has a passion for children’s development and families accessing quality therapy and care.
  • Highly experienced in seeing children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Down Syndrome, Global Developmental Delays and Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders.

Sarah

Sarah is a passionate speech therapist dedicate to helping people improve their speech and language skills. Sarah has participated in sessions, working with children with Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and genetic conditions to help build their communication and cognitive skills.

She also has experience with high and low tech AAC to support the development of functional communication.

Sarah has a passion for creating engaging and effective therapy experiences for children she enjoys designing and producing therapy resources that enhance sessions and support client progress toward their communication goals while providing evidence-based care.

Zahraa

Zahraa is an enthusiastic allied health speech therapy assistant dedicated to helping individuals improve their speech and language skills within a supportive and encouraging environment.

Zahraa has experience assisting in therapy sessions and supporting the delivery of speech and language interventions for children with Down Syndrome, Stuttering and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She is also skilled in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), to support functional communication and engagement.

Zahraa applies evidence-based, person-centred activities, tailoring sessions to meet unique needs of each client.

Majida

Majida is a compassionate and reflective Speech Pathologist who is deeply committed to person-centred, strengths-based, and evidence-informed practice. She believes in seeing the whole person beyond their diagnosis, recognising each individual’s abilities, identity, and lived experiences. Majida values holistic support that empowers clients and families, builds on existing strengths, and creates meaningful change in everyday communication and participation.

  • Majida has experience with voice, speech, language and stuttering assessments and therapies.

  • Majida is trained in key word sign and clinical yarning.

  • Majida has seen children with genetic conditions (Down Syndrome, Cornelia De Lange Syndrome, 15Q duplication), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), brain injuries, Global Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy, and hearing difficulties.

  • Speaks both Arabic and English fluently.

Yasmin

Yasmin is a passionate and motivated speech pathologist dedicated to supporting individuals to develop confident and functional communication skills. As a speech pathologist, she is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based assessment and therapy tailored to each client’s individual needs.

Yasmin supports individuals with a range of communication needs, including speech, language, social communication, and functional communication (AAC), providing engaging, individualised and meaningful therapy to help clients work towards their communication goals. She values building strong, collaborative relationships with clients and their families, and aims to empower them with practical strategies to support communication in everyday environments, making a meaningful difference in their lives.
